Born in Bartlesville, a northeastern Oklahoma oil town, and raised in Houston, Texas, Jared earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri, Columbia.  He then returned to Texas to attend law school at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.  Jared practiced in Dallas before coming to East Texas to practice oil and gas law.  Jared is experienced in both federal and state court litigation and is dedicated to obtaining results for his clients both in the courtroom and in the boardroom.
